🌼 About This Arrangement
I began this arrangement by choosing a vivid yellow vase—bright and eye-catching.
To create a striking contrast, I decided to pair it with purple orchids.
I then added Dan-ko Allium (Allium Sapphire), whose graceful flowing curves introduced quiet movement amid the vase’s vivid color and the orchid’s dignified presence.
Because the flowers are visually strong, I intentionally kept the number minimal to emphasize ma—the Japanese concept of space.
This allows viewers to fill in the blank spaces with their own imagination, creating an open, contemplative atmosphere.

🌸 From a Doctor’s Perspective
As an emergency physician, I deal with high-pressure situations every day.
Quick decisions and constant alertness often leave little room for rest.
But when I face flowers, time slows down.
Focusing on the contrast of colors and the curves of stems helps quiet my inner noise.
From a medical perspective, I would call this a moment when the autonomic nervous system gently rebalances itself.

Bringing Flowers Into Your Daily Life
After placing this piece in my home, the entire atmosphere felt warmer.
Even visitors commented on how soft the air seemed.
Just by placing a few flowers, the space—and the mood of everyone in it—transforms gently.
That is the quiet power of ikebana.
