Frames that actually fit the print

MEASURED, NOT GUESSED

Our prints are finished to stand on their own, unframed. Still, a frame turns a sheet of paper into a piece you live with. Below are frames that genuinely fit each of our eight print sizes, listed with inner and outer measurements rather than vague promises.

How to read the numbers
Holds — the largest sheet the frame will take. If this is at or above our print size, the print fits.
Visible area — how much of the print you actually see once the mat (or, on frames without a mat, the frame's own opening) sits over it. It is normally smaller than the print, so the edges are covered. How much varies a great deal — from 2.5mm to 14mm per side — so every card gives the real figure on its "▸" line. We print the largest numbers just as plainly as the smallest, so nothing is a surprise when the frame arrives.
Outer — the size of the frame itself. Use this one when you measure the wall or shelf.
A note for customers outside Japan: these frames are sold on Amazon Japan and generally ship within Japan only. We list the measurements in millimetres so you can take them to a framer or shop near you.

Every frame here has been checked against our actual print dimensions, one measurement at a time. Anything whose numbers we could not verify is left off the page, however well reviewed.
