Kawazu Sakura in Motion

Shizuoka — Spring Breeze Over the Kawazu River

Kawazu, Shizuoka — birthplace of the famous early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossom. Slow-shutter capture of pink blossoms swaying in the spring breeze along the Kawazu River, painted by motion into an impressionist tableau. Time itself flows through this still image — a one-of-a-kind artistic interpretation of Japanese spring.
