Lady Birch in Morning Mist, Oku-Nikko

Tochigi — "The Lady of Odashirogahara," a Lone White Birch at Dawn

In the highland marsh of Odashirogahara in Oku-Nikko stands a single white birch known as "The Lady" — a solitary tree that has captivated photographers through every season and light. On this dawn, heavy clouds hung low while morning mist drifted slowly across the wetland, and the Lady emerged quietly behind her veil. A photograph filled with the profound, hushed stillness that only an overcast daybreak can bring — utterly unlike a clear morning.
