Special "ice tulips" blooming in midwinter at Ueno Park, Tokyo. Through cold-treatment cultivation, vivid red, yellow, and white blossoms defy the season — a rare winter sight that brightens park walks.

This night frame also comes from the Soviet-era HELIOS-44-2 58mm F2 lens. A single street lamp threw out rays and an arc of ghosting that lit the midwinter water like a stage.
